I just started a new job teaching elementary special ed. I am literally one of two males in the building, so it comes as no surprise that I have no coworkers that share my zeal for mma. Any tips on how I can get my female coworkers interested so not all of the teachers lounge convos revolve around cute outfits, baby daddy drama, and period cramps?
I dont like change, so including Mr Petesy in the new era irked me, However, he has won my heart and when he says 'I love you all' at the end of the Craic, I truly believe him - Keep up the good work
It has been much debated who is most likely to achieve 3 undisputed titles, with Ilia or Pereira being the supposed favorite at this point, and Khamzat being a favorite early in his career. In my opinion, I believe Islam has a great shot at winning the welterweight belt in November, and after a couple defenses, winning the middleweight title. I believe he is not at all an undersized welterweight. He is 5’10” and Rob, Sean, and DDP are all 6’1” or shorter.
After watching the Artem video, i got to thinking. What would get a bigger pop? Chris Eubank Sr. getting out of the car with hs son, or if at the PFL event, Artem and Conor get out of the car together abd the band is back together?
Hi Ariel and Team- with UFC 319 selling out even with the co main as tbd vs tbd at the time, did Chicago set a dangerous precedent for other cities getting PPVs that haven’t in a while? Thinking this gives the UFC less motivation to potentially stack a card.
I decided to watch the PFL event not long ago and I was (unsurprisingly) disappointed. When a fight is about to start the announcer says “and introducing” and the fighter walks out. Once both fighters are in the cage the announcer says “aaand introducing…” for a second time. Like what are we even doing here? Do they even have an executive producer? And if they do who is it and why is he still employed. Not to mention the space in between fights. Why have a tournament at a certain weight if the winner doesn’t get an immediate title shot? Or make them the champion? You’ve discussed this before and that Dakota girl is just fighting, there is no path for her. No question I guess bc where do you start with that company?
Hola Ariel! I am confused how so many people are saying they were worked or tricked with the Seth Rollins injury. There were not any reports of what his injury was or how long he was expected to be out.
Recently, there were reports and information about the injuries to Liv Morgan and Zoey Stark, and even on Monday night, Michael Cole said that Gunther is out indefinitely. I guess my complaint is I expected the cash in and think they should have tried to trick us better.
I was watching the Bryan Battle interview from yesterday and noticed something..
No, not the record breaking number of "you know what I'm sayings," but the relation between fighters that understand the importance of personality, promotion, etc. while being fans of pro wrestling. It seems like a good idea for them to at least watch a few events to get a better sense of what to do to in important moments (pre-fight hype videos, post-fight interviews..) to gain fans and momentum in their careers, no?
Also, as a certified D1 Glazer.. how about them Bills on Hard Knocks last night? I had a smile on my face the entire episode and can't wait for the upcoming season.
It was a little concerning hearing Andy Foster’s disregard for scoring rounds 10-10 because it would affect the outcome of the fight. Some rounds are truly equal and just picking a winner because you have to is really what will affect the outcome of a fight negatively. We shouldn’t only see fights ending in draws if a point is taken or if a fighter has a super dominant round but drops the other 2 rounds.
Fights are scored by rounds and some rounds are truly just even.
Long time listener, first time asker, thank you for all the hard work you put in!
Mma is a relatively new sport. So far, it has mostly been the case that the new generation of fighter is more skilled than the old. Do you think that will always be the case or could there be certain characteristics of a generation that might make them less skilled overall? An example could be the possible decline in the attention span of the youth. Could something like that produce a generation of fighters that is less skilled overall than the previous, or will the sport keep progressing? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Could it be that someone from the crew collected it and forgot to share? Who would be the most likely to do so? Is Frank implementing a puff-puff-no-pass strategy?
P.S.- watching The Challenge for the first time and it is incredibly entertaining, lets go Ben!
People are growing tired of the ufc post conferences being dull and the lack of tougher questions (questions that push back against the UFC’s decisions/narrative), which I think led to people discussing MMA media. Is that something that you are not interested in growing? Meaning, getting more reporters (like Drake Riggs) to go to the events and interview people in person/press row.
Any interest in getting Luca Fury on the show? Would be fascinating to dive into the evolution of the sport and how gambling as evolved as well. Thanks!
What is your favourite MMA fight, boxing match, and pro-wrestling match, and how would you rank the 3 of them in terms of entertainment/place in your heart?

Shorty man. Ditty boxing.
What say you?
Hey Ariel and crew,

You talked about your favorite ufc walkouts, what about your favorite WWE walkouts?
Hellooo Ariel & Gang,
I was watching the Bryan Battle interview from yesterday and noticed something..

Hello!
Did you ever get those Bam-Bam Buds?
Could it be that someone from the crew collected it and forgot to share? Who would be the most likely to do so? Is Frank implementing a puff-puff-no-pass strategy?

Ariel. Give us your thoughts on the nfl and espn deal and the subsequent death of sports journalism on that network.
