Chama just had his fastest win in arguably his hardest opponent to date in his highest stakes fight. What level of greatness do you believe we are looking at in Poaton? He is the ultimate mythical character. Came into the ufc late and became the face. Fought every time no questions asked and ended some insane wins streaks as well. Anks, Izzy’s, Stricklands, etc. How will people talk about Chama when his career is finished?
I just saw Petesy’s fellow country man, Dermot Kennedy, perform in San Francisco over the weekend. An incredible show and a truly unreal performance. One of the best shows I have seen live. He said at his show in Dublin, a brawl broke out in the crowd. Wondering if Petesy was there and if he by chance was the testosterone filled lad that started the brawl?
Ric last week said there is no reason to doubt that Conor won’t be on the White House card…. Did he mean there is no reason to believe he WILL be on the card? What is he on about? Conor has given us every reason that he won’t be on the card. He’s the ultimate boy who cries wolf. He’s told us a handful of times since 2021 that he is coming back and Ric now believes we have no reason to doubt him…? What?!
I’m a big fan of both Eubank and Benn, absolutely love the tension between them as well as between Eddie. It is also my FOTY. My question is, do you feel like Eubank is coming off as a sore winner? Complaining about everything that was stacked against him regardless of his win. It’s a bit of an overkill for me and it is as if he lost. It reeks like sore winner. Thoughts?
Is McGregor with BKFC Dave Feldmans most successful power move? It has payed dividends when it could have easily gone south and damaged the company more. He rolled the dice and it really payed. He’s so active and passionate about it all, really putting it on the map. Feldman got the good end of the stick, could have been like the Jake Paul/pfl partnership that did nothing.
You said you can’t get into conspiracy talk with Paul Hughes fight because you have no evidence of that but then you say the score cards were so sketch they need to be investigated… Is that not all the evidence you need right there? You are saying something is awry, isn’t that a perfect conspiracy?
The BITB talked about top documentaries on P4P and the first one that came to my mind was Touching The Void. Surprised it wasn’t mentioned especially from GC talking about free solo. Has anyone on the team seen or heard of this one? Still to this day the best one I have ever seen, hasn’t even been close to being topped. Please give it a watch and report back! Trust!
After watching the Silva debacle, I have surmised that the man in the tux who landed on Silva has a better highlight tape than some in the ufc. He is probably in front of Movsar for a title shot at the moment. He also inflicted so much damage on Silva in just one punch, Silva looked like he was in a 12 round war. The photo that was clipped off of him laying on the canvas bloody and unconscious looks like the cover photo to the newest A24 horror film. Is anything going to come from all of this?
I recently heard Bisping say on commentary "A 10-9 round is suppose to be when it's extremely close but somebody lands an extra jab. A 10-8 is when somebody clearly wins the round, and a 10-7 is when the ref is on the verge of stopping the fight"
From my understanding of the unified MMA rules a 10-8 is not simply ever given for just "clearly winning a round" like Bisping says. It is given for dominance and sustained significant damage.
Is Bisping wrong in his analysis? Could you and the boys clarify the difference between a 10-9, 10-8 and 10-7.
When you had Paul Craig on following his retirement he talked about his struggles with body dysmorphia throughout his career. It made me wonder how many fighter's are silently battling with their own body image, considering it's a sport where you're fighting half naked for millions to see.
Then I remembered during Michel Pereira's last fight Bisping saying on the commentary he saw Pereira doing bicep curls and squats the morning of the fight. Anyone who has lifted weights would know there is absolutely zero benefit to lifting weights the day of the fight, besides pumping blood to your muscles to appear bigger and more vascular for the cameras. In reality you are depleting your glycogen stores and fatiguing your muscles. He then went on to lose in devastating fashion.
No real question, just wanted your thoughts about body dysmorphia in MMA, and how the pressure to "look" good could be comprising fighters.
You're going on date night with your wife and have to choose between Poatan and Jiri to babysit your kids. Who are you choosing and why?
P.S. I'm stoked that E. Casey is at Uncrowned now. We sat next to each other at Jake Paul vs JCC Jr. and watched Ilia KO Charles on his laptop live. What a mensch!
When you had Yoel on I could not hear his translator at all. Yoel looked like he was giving vibrant and engaging answers, only to have his translator reply in a monotone half-asleep voice.
Can we please use Andy to translate for Yoel next time as she does a MUCH better job than whoever that was.

The one, the only.

Conor has never pulled out of a fight.

Ariel I’m confused,

GC-

Hey Ariel and the Crew
With Merab stream-rolling over the bantamweight division, do we agree that Merab is the GOAT of the division?
Merab vs Petr 2 just announced for Dec card, initial thoughts on the matchup, and is Petr the most deserved currently?
Much love 🫶
Quick fire-
Why did Conor ditch you for the worst interviewer of all time, Damon Martin?
What happened to all your ad reads?
How did you go about acquiring E KC Lydian?
What exactly happened with Frankie Edgar if it wasn’t medical?
Lot of rumors about Frankie
