Happy holidays Ariel & team! This question is for everyone. Other than Jones vs. Aspinall, what are your top 3 unannounced fights you most want to see in 2025?

Hey guys I need your advice on something. When I get home from work my girlfriend will ask me about my day and it usually takes me about 5 minutes to recap. I’ll then ask her about hers and she will take up to 45 minutes something. How can I politely get her to give me a shortened version, without offending her.

Thanks

Connor, you are lucky you have this issue. When I ask my GF how her day was, she just says “good, how was yours”, then it’s back on me. Goodluck!

This reminds me of "Seinfeld" when Kramer used this exact conversation as an example of what was to come, convincing Jerry not to settle down / get married.

Sup Ariel,

No question today, I just wanted to congratulate GC on the opening of his new burger chain GC Burger. I tried it the other day and the burgers are phenomenal!

This is in Waterloo, Ontario for those wondering.

P.S. Mario & Luigi Brothership for the switch might just be the best Mario game ever made, I highly recommend it.

Hola Ariel! How do you see Cody’s title run ending? I thought Kevin Owens should have won on Saturday and had Cody win it back at the next SNME or Royal Rumble. Would WWE really have The Rock beat him at WM?

Ariel, quick 2 partner for ya!

Ireland is a country that is absolutely begging for a UFC event. We haven't had an event here in over 10 years. Despite having several rising stars. I work in the 3 arena and often host MMA / boxing events. What do you think is stopping them from coming here? Hoping to go to the UK card next year for my first UFC event.

This one's for Mr.Carroll. Petesy, how much do you top up your leap card by? Are you a 5/10 euro type of guy or are you one of those eejits topping up by 50 euro at a time? Or are you too big time for the "reliable" Irish public transport.

P.S Ariel I met you at the meet n greet in the black forge a few years ago before the Katie Taylor fight. You were a gent with +10,00 aura.

Shalom Ariel,

Curious to get your insights on how involved Dana White is in the broadcasting production for the UFC? Do you think he gives feedback to the commentators during the shows or after the shows? Is he the one who decides the broadcasters for each card or do you think he is more hands off?

All the best for the holidays to you and the boys in the back, -Deebo

Hey Ariel! Happy Holidays! As one Egyptian to another, what is your favorite Egyptian dish? When are you going to take out the BITB and Petsey to get some Molokheya, or Macarona Bashamel, OR some stuffed Grape Leaves, OR the classic - Fuul Madamas (Fava Beans)??

Keep killing it as the Uncrowned Kings that you all are!

What a year indeed!!!

Good tidings to the crew and big ole lump of coal for Franklin.

I have an awesome work friend who loves boxing and is getting into MMA. I’d love to treat him- hit up the Intuit Dome and get some Roscoe’s. This upcoming card 311 is a total killer, but I am a bit concerned how wrestling heavy it will be in the main two bouts. Do you think this would be a good intro event to attend?

All the best and blessings into 2025. Yisa Adonai panev elecha v'yasem l'cha shalom!

A lot of the time when it's 2 wrestlers their wrestling will cancel each other out, making for an exciting stand-up fight.

Can you explain to us the differences you have seen in journalism between MMA and boxing? Which one has maintain a higher standard in your opinion for proper sports journalism?

Hola Ariel and the boys in the back! Very interesting hearing about the GFL last week. My main concern is their dependency on the initial roster, and I don’t see how they’re gonna generate interest in future seasons. Even if all of the big names stick around for more than 1 season, they’ll never have a future draft class with this much star power, unless there’s a mass wave of departures from the UFC which seems unlikely. What strategies would you suggest to them to build interest in the league as a whole? Just feels too risky to rely on interest being generated by certain fighters when you don’t know how long they’ll be around.

The 50% revenue share could be a big incentive for mid-tier fighters to go over once their contracts finish with the UFC/PFL.

I don’t disagree but I think without a broadcast deal there’s no incentive for advertisers or sponsors to give their money, would be very interested to hear if they have any of those contracts already locked up. Like many others have mentioned there is currently no revenue from those types of sources to distribute to fighters, so feels like they’re just relying on the star power of the roster to bring that in this upcoming season. Excited to see how it plays out, I’m rooting for them!

Hey Ariel,

As I know Howard Stern is a big inspiration to you, what is your take of the proclaimed serial killer that came on air and confessed to his crimes while on Howard Sterns show? I’ve listened to it many times and it is bone chilling.

Curious what your take on that clip is and how you would react to something like that?

Thanks for a great year!

A question for GC and Petesy,

I am Irish myself and I understand Saint Stephen’s Day… but where does the tracksuit tie in and how does it correlate with the day?

P.s. your next book club is going to be a good one! Dark Matter is my sister’s favorite book and they made a limited short series on Apple TV which the wife and I just finished, extremely fun concept and a great watch! I highly recommend the series!

Enjoy and Happy Holidays! Thanks for the year

Hot take alert!

I’m a big fan of Pantoja and was in attendance when he won the title against Moreno, even bet on him to win by decision! But I think we may have blown his dominance out of proportion recently. Some of these wins are very close, the Moreno fight closest of them all. The Erceg fight was very close, and he got clipped hard in his most recent defense. While I love his style and his fights I don’t think it’s sustainable at the top and it’s only a matter of time before one of these close fights doesn’t go his way. Am I way off here? I think the talent at the top of 125 is close enough to where the belt could change hands multiple times in the next few title fights. Any thoughts Ric? Bring on the glaze, and happy holidays!

Aloha Ariel,

When are you going to chat shit with DDP? I remember after he won the belt you had him schedule like 2-3 times and he cancelled. I wondered if it was because you did a deep dive on all his "racial" (to put it lightly) comments he made on Izzy. Is there a beef there with DDP?

Hey Ariel and the BITB,

I’ve been wracking my brain to try to figure this out. Are there any good examples of a contending level fighter dropping down a weight class and becoming more or at least equally successful as at the higher weight. I know we have a ton of great examples of fighters moving up. I can’t think of any that fit here. Thoughts? Preferably in the last 10-12 years post mergers.

Joaquin Buckley, Jared Cannonier

Jeez, how’d I miss that obvious one with the Buckley. Fair on Cannonier (although it’s hard to count him because he was honestly just kind of fat before) you could even say Volk. He fought at 170 before the ufc. As far as I know, no one has won a belt or really come that close to one. Buckley could be the first but he’s just entering contender status.
