Ariel, we all heard what Dana said about Conor possibly receiving a title shot upon his return. I know we've seen fighters get a shot after a loss, but have we ever seen a fighter get a shot after 3 straight losses in the division? Ranked number 9, he is still always considered for a title fight. Are the lightweights forever doomed to play 'keep away from conor' with the belt? And will conor ever stand tall enough again to catch it being lobbed over his head?
I say Conor vs Islam as a #1 contender fight if they want to talk about Conor competing for the title again. Revisit that rivalry and make Islam a huge star in the process by smashing Conor.
before I get to my question, I want to give a big shout-out to the people of Ukraine. From global superstars joining the front lines to everyday citizens staring down the barrel in defiance of the invader, the incredible courage, resilience, and determination of the Ukrainians is nothing short of awe-inspiring and a true testament to their fighting spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
My question is about fighters showing unexpected savvy in dealing with the UFC brass. In your opinion, which fighter doesn’t get the credit they deserve for their intelligence and strategic mind in dealing with the UFC? My pick would be Nate, who in the lead-up to 244 brilliantly turned the tables on the UFC and forced them to publicly clear his name of any alleged steroid use, or lose out on the biggest event of the year with mere days to go and no replacement in sight.
This weekends main event of Colby Covington x Jorge Masvidal is filled with all types of personal beefs and drama. Flying under the radar of that drama is the very personal feud that has been going on for years between Maryna Moroz and Mariya Agapova.
Which fight is more likely to end with a hug or handshake?
Mr. Helwani, you have interviewed the who's who of wrestling, boxing, mma etc.. who's one fighter/entertainer you were legitimately star struck on meeting/interviewing.During the fall of 2021 I met el gran campeon julio Cesar chavez! He also signed my mitts, so if you ever get helwani boxing up and going again I'd be more than down to work mitts with you, helwani boxing x sotelo boxing thanks ariel! Ps I liked how you put that Benedict Arnold Henry cejudo in his place when you said if he asked permission for his "daddy" to come on Arriba HEELwani!!!
Shalom! Was Sal D’Amato the judge that messaged you during the show on Monday? Talk about a guy that wouldn’t want to show his live score… Sheeeesh
Also, please tell Frank you’re sorry for giving him a hard time for the extra breaking news sound byte on Monday. Frank is a saint and only has perfect timing with that byte. 😆
I echo everything Niko Suave said about the people of Ukraine. Truly inspiring.
Also shoutout to Killashaw.
My question is how does the UFC determine the order of the fights on a card? I feel like they could do a better job of putting a spotlight on their up and coming stars by showcasing them on the main card or at least the featured prelim. Terrance McKinney is one example. Ian Garry was on the early prelims in his debut and is scheduled to be on the prelims again in Jacksonville. We need less Greg Hardy and Katlyn Chookagian on main cards and more future stars.
Why are we just IGNORING Justin Gaethje, and acting like the fight against Charles isn’t even on the table anymore? Does he not exist or something?
Islam’s path has obviously changed drastically (and no hate towards him) but why did it seem almost predetermined that if he won (against Green or Dariush or anyone)…he would automatically be the #1 contender over Gaethje?
The disrespect for Justin is driving me, dare I say, bonkers. Please help me understand!
Any inside news on why Islam x RDA didn’t happen? Looks more like it was on the UFC’s part that it didn’t come to fruition. In addition to, any updates on when Rose returns?
Do you think it’s more impressive to go undefeated as a striker or a grappler? For example, is Izzy’s 185 reign more impressive than Khabib’s reign because he did it all via striking.
taila santos, announced yesterday

Congrats 🥇
Real recognize real
If they give Conor a title shot without winning a fight I will stop buying PPV and just stream every fight
Dana: WE GOT HIM

Feels like they are purposely beating around the bush on dustin vs Nate so they can do Conor vs Nate 3 international fight week
I think November is more likely
Conor vs Nate at MSG🔥
Hey Ariel!
I noticed Colby hasn’t been on your show in a while and is constantly talking bad about MMA media, is there any chance he will be on the show soon?
Colby doesn’t like Ariel right now because Ariel called out some of his BS. Smh
He doesn’t interview with anyone that causes him to forget his lines
Ça va Ariel!

Covington x Masvidal OR Moroz x Agapova

Ariel, do you watch the Embedded series and can fighters say no to being on it?
Hello Ariel

My man
My man, afternoon Ariel.
Today's question is a simple one.
When it comes to interviews, do you prefer asking 'why' or 'how'?
Much love, Louis
Holla Ariel, my only question for you is,
Is there really “nothing a double leg can’t fix”?
Thank you for the time, your response, and all the great work you do . Also shout out P.F. Chang’s intelligence.

Can you compare Colby Covington’s Brazil promo to any great pro wrestler’s promo that catapulted or saved their career?
