Question I've had for years — Did Nick Diaz ever get any compensation/royalty for the infamous "Joe Rogan podcast all night, all day" that has been used in 1700+ episodes and for 12+ years of the Joe Rogan Experience?

Hey Ariel! I’m a huge fan of your work and a brand new subscriber. When is the UFC going to stop using the Apex for fight nights? At the start of the pandemic, Dana said repeatedly that the UFC would be going back to full capacity before everyone else, but we’ve had full crowds in every other major sport every day for a while now, and we keep getting the same bland, lifeless, empty Apex events. Wouldn’t they make more money by selling out arenas every weekend, or are they saving money by cutting the costs of going on the road? It seems like another example of the UFC screwing over the fighters and the fans so they can make as much profit as possible.
What is going on with Zabit Magomedsharipov? After the fight with Yair got cancelled, we kinda stopped hearing about him. He was removed from the UFC rankings, and it is as if no one even noticed! Any news on why he was removed from the rankings, and when we can expect to see him back in action? Cheers from Montreal!

Happy Wednesday! First off, have you heard anything from the Jon Jones camp about when he'd like to get back in the octagon? It feels like we are probably still quite a ways off before he gets a fight.
Second, if both Poirier and Usman win their title fights this year (assuming the Oliveira/Poirier fight does take place in December), who would you give the edge to in the Fighter of the Year race?

For me, Wrestling is responsible for many I can think of and there’s one I think you should check out, if not familiar. In Montreal in 2005, on a Raw building up to the Summerslam match with Hulk Hogan, HBK was getting nuclear heat from the crowd. They then played Bret Hart’s music and the crowd blew the roof off. I don’t understand how Leon thinks he’s entitled to a title shot. Some things people don’t talk about:
1. Blatant eye poke to Belal and then didn’t give him a rematch.
2. He did not try to finish Diaz at all in their fight. Imagine the buzz if he becomes one of the only people to finish Diaz. He showed no aggression in the later rounds.
In my opinion, these 2 things he should have considered. Your thoughts?
The proposed format of the new WFL is intriguing. In a hypothetical scenario, where all current MMA gyms became ‘teams’ in this kind of format, including all of their current fighters- which gym do you think would start as favourites to win the league? (ignoring weight classes and focussing purely on depth of talent)
Hot Take: The Orange Julep is kinda overrated. I get that it's iconic in our city, but the drink there is definitely overhyped. Cheers again from Montreal!
