I’ve been watching following you since 2009 or 2010 and I’m so happy for all your success! Your show and your team are on fire you’re doing the best content of your whole career right now. And the boys in the back is fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about you guys . You feel my week full of anticipation and appreciation. I’ve got two questions….
Number one, what was the most exciting year of MMA and your reporting on it that you’ve experienced so far?
Number two, I’m a pretty skilled artist and illustrator but a neurological issue has stopped me from following that trade anymore. However, your show has been such a main stay in my life that I would love to create a kick ass piece of art of your team. Where would I send it to is my question?
Thank you for all the work you guys do for them community. GREATLY appreciate it!!!
Congrats on the big 1-5! 👏 Well deserved, as always. Not fight related, but I’ve learned there are some cinephiles on the staff. Curious to hear everyone’s film of the year, specifically Frank who seems to have choice taste. ;)
Kai Kara France is coming off an impressive finish over Steve Erceg. Do you put KKF on the Australia card and hope he wins to become a more desirable/worthy challenge for Pantoja? Or do you hold him out and not risk him losing?
I think you risk it and have him fight. KKF with an impressive performance in Australia could create real demand for the Pantoja matchup, instead of just being 'the best of what's left'. Am I wrong? Thoughts?
As you’ve moved to create an entire media platform, I have no doubt it’s only gotten busier for you, which got me wondering, what are some things you’ve done in the past that you kind of miss doing/ had to sacrifice? IE: NBA coverage, fighter scrums, walk and talks, etc…
Hey GC, how do you get to the earliest and best lines on fights? I've noticed books will have the fight well in advance, but won't add props or rounds until closer to the date. Do you check periodically, set alarms.
Appreciate the picks, please bring back the previous week review!
Danny here, commenting out of Langwarrin, Australia by way of Forest, Ontario, Canada. A few weeks ago the UFC posted a video showing all of the previous heavyweight champs. At the end of a few of the older fights we see the champion who lost the belt out it on the new champ. For example Levin Randleman puts it on Randy Couture, who then puts it on Josh Barnett. Do you think this is something we don’t see anymore because Dana likes to do it, or does it fall more on the fighters? Personally, I think it is awesome and would like to see the gesture make a comeback.
Regarding judging: I think one thing that does not get discussed enough is that the judges watch the fight from one vantage point, without the benefit of the broadcast angles and multiple viewpoints. I feel this can make quite a large impact depending on where the action is taking place, especially for close rounds. We have even heard from fighters that in-person they thought one thing, but after watching it back had an opinion change.
Would it make sense to let the judges have monitors and a commentary/audio free broadcast at their judging station?
Maybe more of a question for Petesy… seems like since Conor’s stardom exploded he’s had nothing but trouble…were there rumblings or questions of his character prior to his success? Or do you think the success truly changed him for the worse?
If you had to assemble the ultimate MMA card with fighters from any era, who’s headlining, and what’s the dream co-main and two support fights? Bonus: Where’s the event taking place? Vegas? Saudi? New York-MSG?
Hi Ariel, what are you hearing for the ufc saudi main event? will it be izzy vs imavov?

Best to you all and talk soon!
Hallo Ariel
With the holidays right in front of us, I wanted to take this chance and wish you and the whole crew happy and healthy days with your loved ones.
My question is what was the best gift each one of you has received ? My best one was the Gameboy back in the day, I freaked out about that one.
Greetings from Germany My man
Hey Ariel and the boys,
No question this week, just wanted to congratulate Ric on his Australian 200m record set last week!
(Maybe google for more context)
Cheers, Fraser
Lads - a genie looking a lot like Turki Alalshikh appears, he says he will make one (boxing) fight of your choice. What fight are you choosing?
I'm going for Canelo v Benavidez

Hey Ariel, what is each of the teams favourite ice cream? Can New York Rick have ice cream? He seems like a guy with a lactose intolerance

Hello Ariel, BITB, Andy, Peatsy, On Air Jordan and ANT AVENS
Since it's Wednesday, we like to shoot and Ariel is now American-
Which firearms/ weapons does everyone on the crew own?
Which would you like to get?
To those who don't own any guns, have you ever shot one?
I bet Texas Frank has an eclectic armory room.

The Conor doc Notorious shows him pretty early on, good watch if you're looking to see his evolution to stardom.
