Any updates on James Krause?

Every time I have seen Moreno fight post Krause I always think about what could have been. Truly believe he could have been a goat coach. Will he ever resurface again in mma coaching? Is there any precedent we could compare this to in fighting?

I have one. The FBI are putting together a case for Krause and other targets. I know this from a DC area journalist friend of mine who is following the case.

Ariel - I just learned that UFC SW Angela Hill is the granddaughter of Barney and Betty Hill who are known for their claim of being abducted by a UFO in New Hampshire in 1961. It was a huge story for its time and even had a book published about it, The Interupted Journey, and a television show made about it, The UFO Incident. Were you aware of this? Have you ever asked her about any of this? What is your and the crews take on UFOs/Aliens? I known GSP is a believer. Thanks to you and the crew for all the great content. Ps. Hello Ric.

Hi Ariel! As always, appreciate your perspective. One of the best follows on Twitter (X) in the combat sports world has to be @jedigoodman. He reported that #JoshuaNgannou did just 4,600 PPV buys in the U.S.

The declining rate of pay-per-view buys / the ppv model is no secret. Sometimes I feel like even the UFC numbers are a little inflated. Any thoughts on this? Are events under the streaming service umbrella like Paul vs Tyson (non-PPV on Netflix) the future of the sport? How much longer can PPV’s be a sustainable business model before the combat sports industry just gives up? You’re the best! 🐐🙌🏼

4600 buys through tv, most are through dazn.

Hey ariel and the crew,

With ufc 300 around the corner, i must say i look forward the the post ppv monday shows to hear yours and the crew’s reactions to the fights. My question for you is what combat sports events have had you excited to go on air the following Monday?? For me it was Do bronx submitting gaethje in the first round and claiming the belt had a name despite losing it to missing weight.

Much love to you and the crew, lets go green this week parlay pals!!

Hi Ariel and MMA Hour Crew,

In an interview with Marc Raimondi today, Conor said that he received confirmation that he will be fighting this summer and it’ll be against Michael Chandler. Have you heard anything that gives you confidence that this could actually be true and not just another rumor that Dana will quickly shoot down?

Thanks,

Brandon

Hey Ariel,

You've touched on it briefly a few times recently but I was hoping you could expand a bit more on the Conor being iced situation. This isn't the first time they've kept Conor out (circa 2020) and the whole situation is just baffling to me. With other fighters such as Nate speaking up about this, do you think they'll continue to keep him out or will public support force their hand? Also is this the first time they've done this or are there any other examples of guys being kept out for similar reasons?

Thanks :)

Bonjour Lord Ariel,

You may have heard that on Monday April 8th there will be a total solar eclipse visible across much of Eastern North America. Where Vox Studios is located you guys won't see the total eclipse but still about 80% of the eclipse which is still extraordinary.

My question is, as the eclipse will be occurring between 3pm - 4pm on a Monday's episode of the The MMA Hour, what are you and the crew's plans for watching the eclipse that day? I'm sure many of those in the building will want to witness this once in a lifetime celestial event.

Also make sure you're wearing ISO-12312-2 Eclipse glasses so you don't damage your eyes.

Thanks for all you do.

Aloha Ariel,

I have a coworker who uses all my condiments. The last one was I bought a spicy buffalo ranch dressing, and I probably used it 2 or 3 times and left it in the work fridge. I saw him use it multiple times but assumed there would be a lot left for me. Fast forward a couple of weeks, i bring a salad to work, and lo and behold, my dressing is all gone. And he remarks that "we ran out of that last week". Who is we? I was so angry. Should I confront this guy, should i take my condiments to and from home everyday to safe guard them. I feel like NY Ric will have a great take on this.

Good day ariel and crew. Last night (monday night) i went to my first WWE event in about 10 years since i was a kid, to say i was amazed by the production and level of professionalism by the superstars and production team would be an understatement. The crowd was electric and the show was amazing, great matches and great promos all around. What i want to ask you though is what do you think about the recent blowing up of the WWE specifically when it comes to The Rock and him turning heel and seeming like the company is going back towards a Tv-14/PG13 era? I'm not sure if you were watching Raw this past monday but Cody and the rock have said some wild stuff on a "kids tv show" in the last week or two and i'm all here for it, but what are you're current thoughts on the direction that the WWE is trying to go in, do you think it's more positive for the grown ups that miss the attitude/ruthless aggression era? Or do you think it's a fault when it comes to the kids and PG aspect of the show and company?

Thanks for the time- Matt

p.s. who's winning in a fatal four way between Ariel, Ric, GC, and Frankie?

Hello Ariel and the Crew,

Namaste from India :) Hope you guys are doing great. My question today is for Ariel and the guys in the back.

Can you tell us that one fight from the past that looked absolutely great on paper but it did not deliver ? My personal pick is Israel vs Yoel as there was such a great potential to be a really good fight but did not end up being that way.

Hello crew, question for Ariel, GC and Ric. Do you think the Paul vs Tyson fight will be the most watched fight of all time? Because it will be on Netflix for all users and I think that could be an important factor that breaks any kind of records (like Mayweather vs Conor or Khabib vs Conor).

Greetings Ariel!

What the heck is going on with Cory Sandhagen's Twitter/X account? Seems like it was hacked 4 or 5 days ago and changed to some BS profile. New profile pic, name, and handle but his old posts are still there. Any strings you can pull to help our guy out here? And where does Chito Vera fit into all this?

Jokes aside I'm pumped for today's episode! Hope you and the family are well, and shout out to GC, Ric, Frank, and the rest of the crew!

Hola Ariel and Squad !!

Ok had something on ice since UFC 299; my take still hasn’t changed. Why on earth did they let MVP come out to the Undertaker theme?!? Izzy knocked it out of the park with that one, why not choose literally ANY other walkout song 🤦🏻‍♂️. I am reminded of my daughter’s school talent show in 2014: Let It Go ❄️ six different times!!

Anywho, shoutout to Ariel for his close comradery to Chito, Dustin Poirier, and Tai Tuivasa. These recent interviews bring out a layered experience with so many great callbacks. Us long time MMA and MMA Hour Show fans can truly appreciate 👏🏼 👏🏼.

Stay classy and God bless

Beyond fighting, is there a cause for concern pertaining to Ryan Garcia’s well being? I’m leaning towards this being authentic and not just trying to sell a fight. He seems like a completely different person (in the worst way) compared to just a year ago, or even less than that. If and when he gets stopped by the force that is Devin Haney, I’m afraid we are going to see the demise of Ryan Garcia as we once knew him… Am I being dramatic? This is just what I see and how I feel and I would like to think that I am not in the minority. Not asking for any of you to belittle Ryan, just curious to see the way you dissect his demeanor this debacle as a whole (Ariel, GC and Rick).

ARIEL! This is me shooting my shot. If you ever need a certified public accountant to join the MMA Hour Team give me a shout. My question is more of a statement to see if you agree. I think Logan/Jake have a standing “work” as you call it around those parts. Logan going on his podcast to belittle Jake’s huge moment (signing to fight Mike Tyson). All it does is create headlines and build intrigue/storylines. They know what they are doing and are actually going through a classic role reversal. Jake is turning into babyface and Logan to a heel.

Hello Ariel and Crew,

We’ve seen O’Malley and Chito exchange words and excuses after 299. This has been a common event and even more then ever nowadays (mostly due to social media), fighters continue to jab at there opponents after a fight.

In your opinion is it more important to win with grace, or be a gracious loser?

Have a great rest of show and weekend.
