Well you said you can’t wait for my follow up so here it is… I was literally talking about every vaccine but COVID. Hence why I referenced young kids. You went nuclear and you surmised that I was talking about COVID and it was everything but that. Shoutout to Ric and Frank for defending me. I was talking about all of the required vaccines young kids need before age two, including hep b minutes after birth. Nothing about Flu or COVID. Just the other ones that kids get in their first year of life. Feel like your wife is more in tune and probably dealt with all that stuff.

You said last week you would gladly do more segments where you watched old clips such as the Caleb plant one and break them down. I mentioned the video of McGregor walking across the highest bridge and you said you would do it (as the team vouched for how funny it is). Can we get gc to quickly pull it up so you can see it live on air? His commentary is top tier and we would all love to get your reaction live with some laughs!

Curious if you ever see B Shaub just clearly repeating what you say on your show while doing his show? He said that Kayla’s weight cut is brutal and she doesn’t eat anything but what her nutritionist gives her but sometimes she passes out so she’ll take a scoop of peanut butter. He tends to embellish what you say and throw it into his show. Kayla said she eats peanut butter if she’s desperate but never that she passes out. Where else would he have gotten that info from?

Have you seen the clip of the proclaimed serial killer calling in on Howard Sterns show to confess to his crimes? What were your thoughts? How do you think Stern handled it?

Hey Ariel & team

Whilst listening to that really awkward chat with Derick Lewis I kept wondering, is Ariel going to tell him to get lost? Did you think that at all? I am still struggling to work out why he agreed to the interview? I then wondered, have you ever asked a guest to prematurely end a live interview on the show? I have been watching you guys for years & that interview with Derick was the most awkward I've seen. Thanks for everything you guys do & #stripjonjones

Personally from my perspective and having watched countless Derick Lewis interviews, that’s just Derick Lewis! He’s never been addicted to the attention, or never does he go out of his way to try and be viral! You get what you get, and what you see is what you get.

I get the Derick Lewis straight shooter personality, but I would argue he was doing the opposite in this interview. Constantly making baiting statements/asking baiting questions, being bothered by Ariel asking pretty standard questions & then asking private questions in return, trying to take the piss out of his show ... it felt like he was in fact looking for a viral/explosive moment. Again, I can't work out why he wanted the interview if he felt uncomfortable answering mostly pretty standard questions? And then to make comments like he doesn't want people around him who talk about other people, mentioning Dana not liking Ariel etc etc ... it was weird man. Ariel's responses actually reminded me of someone trying to not get angry with spoilt child in a playground - I just wondered if at any stage he wanted to tell him to get lost - I definitely felt that way. Oh & #stripjonjones

Talking about basketball movies and sports documentaries over the last few weeks got me thinking about some of the best and one that you must see is called Through The Fire. The story of Sebastian Telfair going from the projects to highschool straight the NBA. It’s a must see and my #1 basketball film. Have you seen it? Have you heard of Sebastian Telfair? He was also featured in the Highschool Phenoms film with LeBron, Amare, and Carmelo. A heart warming story and great film… Through The Fire. Won’t regret it! Watch with your kids.

Honorable mention: Finding Forester

Ric once said that nobody looks like someone else, it is just something people say. (Another terrible take by the repeat offender Ric). Look up the Baylor football coach and tell me that isn’t Robbie Lawlers identical twin brother.

Hey Ariel,

Given all of your inside knowledge, do you ever/often advise fighters on their contracts/worth? Since the ufc is so secretive about their contracts, I’d assume that many are in the dark about what others are actually paid. The only caveat is that there are a few managers that manage a large number of fighters so obviously they can do this for their clients. Are they allowed to share details like that between clients?

Also, what would you say are the differences between mma managers and agents from the major US sports?

Thinking about a third child, why did you and Ric decide on three children as your final number?

Hello Ariel and Team- were you surprised to see Jey Uso lose the title on Raw? I didn’t expect him to hold it super long, but also didn’t expect Gunther to win it back any time soon.

Hola Ariel! For Jon Jones, do you think the way he’s handling the situation seems way more damaging to his reputation than if he would have retired right after the Stipe fight, or even losing to Tom on his way out?

Hello all,

Suga is no doubt in a weird place now, much like Max, Colby, and Rob found themselves with Volk, Usman, and Izzy. Is it possible we see Sean not necessarily chase titles, rather fight in fun PPV main events with no title on the line? Is there a space in this industry to put on fun “banger” fights where the outcome doesn’t have rankings/title implications?

In recent memory, Dustin and Conor headlined twice, Colby v Jorge, Nate v Tony, and Izzy v Silva.

I would love to see Sean v Cory, Song, Figgy, Moreno, Jean Silva, Dan Ige headline a PPV. I believe Sean is a ppv main event fighter, no title is necessary.

What say you?

Ariel, I just wanted to leave you with words of wisdom. It takes one wipe to know that ten will be needed. But it takes two wipes to know that none were needed at all.

Hi Ariel and crew

Just wondering what your thoughts on the chances of a potential Kayla fight vs Ronda presuming she gets past Amanda. I know it’s unlikely but do you think there is any chance the UFC would think about it? Thanks Jake

Hello Ariel and Crew, seeing as the UFC values hype and a fighter that can promote themselves, is Buckley the smartest Welterweight at the moment? Whilst all of his peers are bending the knee to Makhachev's arrival and being respectful, Buckley is the only contender with "fighting words". He says Makhachev should have to prove himself as a Welterweight before getting a Welterweight title fight (shades of Makhachev Topuria), that Makhachev would retire upon beating JDM and not want to fight Buckley, and released a Youtube video titled "Islam aint takin nothin from me" thumbnail reading "Islam who?"

I personally believe Sean Brady's flawless submission win over Leon earned the next shot, but with JDM Makhachev most likely happening late 2025, there is a good chance the contenders will be booked again. Buckley claims a knockout finish over Usman will move him to the top spot, but when asked by the pre-fight media he said this is not a game for waiting, and is more than confident to fight again.

Depending on how all of that plays out - even as a day 1 Makhachev fan and Brady as well - I have enjoyed listening to Buckley's unique take on Makhachev's arrival, and the confidence he has in claiming to be the best in the division, not being afraid to ruffle some feathers or step on some toes. In a division where Usman and Rakhmonov are friends of Makhachev, Brady and Garry are playing nice, Buckley makes it clear he is prepared to fight anybody and prepared to drop some hot takes.

So I guess the question is; is Buckley wise to set himself apart and pick a fight with the potential champ, being willing to fight again, have you heard these comments and do you have any thoughts on them?
