Happy … Sunday!
So, we’re switching things up a bit this week.
We’re going to tape OTN tomorrow (Monday), which means I need your hard-hitting questions … now!
Hit me with your best ones below. As always, everything and anything goes.
Again, try to keep them short and sweet, if possible. That increases your chances of having the question answered.
And remember: my mate Louis Gilmour is the mod around these parts, and his job is to select the best 21 or so questions. Good luck, and make ‘em count!
I’ll see you TOMORROW on the MMAFighting YouTube channel!
Ayu-bo-wan Ariel,
The oldest fighter to win the welterweight title is Tyron Woodley, at 34 years of age.
Looking at the current top welterweight contenders,
Usman turns 36 this year.
Colby is 35.
Khamzat is not in the division.
Belal turns 35 this year.
Burns turns 37 this year.
Masvidal turns 39 this year.
If any of these fighters manage to win the title, they essentially will be making history. Do you see it happening or are they just too old for the younger crop of welterweights?
Hey Ariel,
I’ll keep it simple. What is going on with UFC judging? It’s been really bad lately and it feels as though there is no path to a solution being even looked at. It’s something that has basically ruined boxing as a sport and I don’t want to see the UFC/MMA going down the same road. In your mind how do we fix this situation?
