Hi Ariel,

I know it's not something you like to speak about, but it's kinda the elephant in the room: is Conor Mcgregor spiralling out of control? Irrespective of the truth around the latest allegations, do you think he is showing any indication that his competitive career can be saved?

Cheers

Craig

If I can add to this question. Was keen to know from Ariel and the team, and I know this is a massive if, but IF post investigation there turns out to be truth to these allegations - is this the straw that breaks the camels back for you personally in terms of him being part of the promotion (ie. If you're in charge, are you parting ways?).

As Craig said get the sense he's spiralling and I'm curious where the line is for you all. Personally in a fighting sense, I'm completely beyond the point of needing to see him fight again - the intrigue just isn't there anymore. Couldn't have imagined I'd feel this way 2 years ago.

Cheers.

His career is over and he’s nothing more than a coked up clown show these days.

Hi Ariel,

My wife and I are having a baby boy in 3 weeks. She wants to name him Ariel. I think she got the idea from me always listening to your show. I had wanted him to just have a normal western name as I also have a Hebrew name and found people always struggle with pronouncing it. Have you struggled with this issue with your name? Did you ever have a fake name for coffee orders, etc? If we do go with Ariel he could end up being the first baby named after El Nariz himself!

Ariel,

It was a long time ago I stopped buying Conor's products because of his constant involvement in morally dubious situations. Despite that I still find myself rooting for him in fights and hoping he does better overall.

These latest allegations are disturbing to say the least. How do you process all this knowing him far better than any of us ever will? I believe you've met his folks, his partner and even a few of his kids. Shocking stuff to say the least and has me wondering if I should purchase or consume anything relating to him. Thanks!

Salaam Alykum Ariel and crew!

I know this is an MMA show (insert Ariel’s popular mocking sound effect that I miss so much) but with the NBA draft approaching and the Suns forming another mega team with the Bradley Beal trade, what moves would you like to see your Knicks make to make sure they continually get better and not fall back into the bottom of the league? Same question to GC for the Hawks and the Cavs for Rick!

Appreciate you as always!

Ariel & Crew,

Looking for a thought parter on this topic: Am I the only person who feels we missed an incredible potential fight (and currently much needed) in that of Israel Adesanya and Darren “The Gorilla” Till?!? Imagine a world where he’s able to put Dricus away in that last fight? He’s suddenly front of the line for Israel, with the second biggest social media following in the division and a stylistically friendly matchup for all to enjoy. Please commiserate with me a bit on this and let me know if you think we’ll ever see Darren in the octagon again. 🤜🤛

Hello Ariel and crew,

I recall a couple months back there was a question that was asked pertaining to the length of the ufc cards and remedies to avoid being a victim to the couch. I too, have found myself nodding off typically around the 11pm slot so I decided to make a change. I grabbed a cookbook and decided to try and make a new dish for each fight night/pay per view. It helps with keeping you active on your feet but also allows you to expand your cooking skills. I encourage anyone out there to give it a try!

Ariel, What would you do if you were Michael Chandler? Continue to wait and possible waste your time? Take another fight? Be the backup fighter for the BMF fight? Thoughts? Love the show, you're all great

Hey Ariel, fan from Australia. Truly love mma and your show

I've got some Ideas I want to space out over the coming weeks

First off a way to fix judging and keep the 10 point must system.

10-9 = close round can go either way

10-8 = the overall winner of the round, most common score

10-7 = A dominant round e.g Volkanovski vs Islam round 5

10-6 = where you nearly finish the fight e.g cannionier vs Vettori round 2

Rewarding fighters with more dominant rounds and close rounds being less impact full on the final score

Hope you guys love it

Hello Ariel!

It appears as though the Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler fight is not happening anytime soon, if ever (Shout out to Petesy for calling this months ago).

Losing the opportunity to fight Conor is a huge blow to Michael Chandler’s career and bank account, and he seems to only be interested in big name fights at this point in his career. Given that he has already lost to the big names at the top of the lightweight division (Oliveira, Gaethje, and Poirier) who could possibly be next for Chandler?

Hey Ariel and pals,

Was wondering what you make of the matchmaking for Cory-Umar and Cejudo-Vera? Feel like Cory is kind of getting screwed since he just beat Chito. Would love your opinions. Shoutout to GC the luck will turn around.

Hellllo Parlay Gents,

With Ilia Topuria competing this weekend, got me thinking of his undefeated record and his potential in the UFC. My question for you guys is who do you think is the best prospect in the UFC is currently? For me a prospect is defined as someone who has been in the ufc a relatively short amount of time and is currently undefeated in the UFC. Some examples would be:

The aforementioned Topuria

Jailton Almedia

Jack Della Madallena

Shavkat Rhakmonov

Bo Nickal

Umar Numargomedov

Khamazat could also could here but for me it feels like he’s been around a while at this point and doesn’t really feel like a prospect anymore (in other words, he’s proved himself already to be in title contention at the moment). Just my opinion though. Love to hear your guys thoughts.

Much love and respect,

Henry

I’d add Ian Garry to the list. The future of WW will be fun to watch with Shavkhat, JDM and Garry climbing the ranks!

This list is just some examples... Ian Garry also belongs up there, I’d put Tatsuro and Muhammad Mokaev up there as well, among others

Hi Ariel and Crew,

How is it possible that no clear pictures of Mysterious Frank have emerged despite his public outings with the GC at events like movies, darts, and Tribeca film fest. Is it just the loyalty of the fan base that keeps the bit going? or is Mysterious Frank like one of those Vegas aliens that make people freeze in their tracks and scramble electrical devices when someone attempts to take a picture?

What’s up Ariel,

This weekend I am getting married! I’m super excited that I finally get to say yes to my best friend. With my question, I want to test that famous Helwani memory. Do you remember the MMA fight that took place during the same week as your wedding? Thank you for all you do, Viva Heelwani!!

Hi Ariel,

First time question asker!

Why did the build-up to the Makhachev vs Volkanovski fight receive limited promotion and advertising despite being a significant bout?

Considering that Makhachev was ranked number 2 P4P and Volkanovski was ranked number 1 P4P at the time, it was a rare occurrence to have the two best P4P fighters face each other. Even after the fight, few people seemed to pay attention, apart from the somewhat controversial decision that favoured Makhachev, despite the majority believing he deserved the win. Could it be that they are just not "popular enough" figures in the sport for the general public to take notice? What are your thoughts.

Love the weekly content my man, keep it up.
