Blaydes can get Aspinall or Tuivasa then Interim if he wins right? He shouldn’t have been ranked ahead of Lewis after getting slept by him. I know with his wrestling ability he will be a nightmare matchup for a relatively new MMA fighter such as Gane and truthfully that will slot him for Francis if he were to resign. But he shouldn’t get to skip Aspinall or Tuivasa when he was slept by Lewis and beat the guy who was also slept by Lewis.

I’m certain the lack of energy outside of Matt Brown is going to cancel a lot of “local” fight nights and outside of Global fight nights we’re going to be witnessing a lot of “Dana White’s Saturday Night Contenders.” With them adding more seating the writings on the wall.
Kai wouldn’t fight as aggressive in a 5 round fight and Askari ain’t getting knocked out. So It honestly could’ve been exactly what the main event will be. Sadly. KKF vs. Moreno/Figgy is going to be an amazing fight and it will finally give him the platform in the Main Event to become a superstar along with the other City guys. Hooker hasn’t won a fight in a long time but has a bigger name than Kai.
It’s so crazy to me that the UFC can go from such a heavy-hitting Fight Night in London being their first one back in Europe, to a Fight Night in Ohio first one out of the Apex with two cards not even in the same stratosphere in terms of name value and appeal. They could’ve honored Stripe’s legacy and let him headline one more hometown sell out.
But! I digress because the UFC will still pull 5x in all metrics against all promotional competition.
One thing that consistently blows my mind is the production quality and consistency of the UFC. There's an unfathomable amount of coordination behind this company, especially one that puts on shows in major venues as often as they do. It's crazy
