normally fighters when asked about their pay give a vague answer like โ Iโm getting taken care of โ or โIโm making more money in this fight then my past fights โ
with the continued dispute over fighter pay, wouldnโt it help all fighters to know exactly what everyone is getting paid similar to NBA and NFL so they can leverage off of each other and get better deals when they negotiate their new contracts?

Who has been more of a distraction to their kids careers, Lavar Ball or Lopez Sr?
It seems like ever since the ufc 205 press conference when Connor roasted Eddie over his pay, fighters seem to be a little more tight lip about their pay.

Some of my favorite podcasts have their production crews interact with the host and some even have cameras on them while they speak, and they all seem like friends, yours included. What are those guys up to back there? Tell me.
I thought a while back that a fun podcast would be interviewing all of the peripheral members of MMA outside of the athlete: Nutritionist, gym manager, publicist, etc.
Every one of these people contributes their part to that athlete stepping in the cage on fight night.
I feel a much deeper connection with a show/team/person when I know their team as well, it humanizes it.

He won a close decision fight over someone who just lost to the champ after being subbed by Khabib. I donโt see how he is the number 1 contender. He should fight the loser of the title fight in December.
I agree. I think Iโm this situation Gaethje is being considered the number one contender based off of what he is capable of not what he has done. Not did he lose a close fight to chandler who just lost to the champ, he lost his title fight and he lost to Dustin who is the rightful number one contender.

Maybe the release was mutual? He is young enough and talented enough to fight but USADA banning substances that many people are prescribed creates and issue. He can fight in an organization where using Aderall wonโt be an issue and continue to make money.
