Definitely not chasing numbers, Shultz has multiple podcast with numbers much higher than Ariel. The backstory is Shultz is a friend of Rogan and Izzy, pretty casual MMA fan. He publicly tweeted that he didn't know who "this Valentina chick was" but was impressed by her. MMA community went nuts. Instead of saying "my bad", andrew is leaning into it saying "I'm the best MMA journalist of all time" obviously joking but making MMA fans irate everywhere. Ariel saw him saying that line and started the fake beef. It's just normal fake podcast beef to promote both sides. Same as when Ariel was going at Booker T.
lol I may be wrong man I'm not arguing with anyone, I'm just assuming with his Flagrant podcast and Brilliant Idiots podcast with Charlemagne that they have larger numbers than Ariel is up to now. He's been doing audio only podcast for years and just recently switched to video. His Patreon is top 10 of all patreons. I'm a fan of everyone and I think they are being friendly behind the scenes and promoting each other.
