Hey Ariel and team. Two questions. 1. In an ideal world what would the main card at UFC 300 look like? 2. What is your favorite wresting entrance music of all time? Thank you!
How often do you try and get celebrity fans of mma or professional wrestling on the show? I think it would be neat to hear from guys like george kittle, the impractical jokers, carlos correa (I know you’ve talked with him before), and westside gunn, to name a few.
When running across famous people, I’m mostly under the mindset that they just want to be left alone and go about their day.
However, I am curious about your thoughts/personal preferences as a person who is famous in our MMA bubble.
Is it appropriate to approach you? Ask for a picture? Would you just prefer a hello or is it ever OK to ask a question/strike up a conversation? Are there other rules/etiquette that the average fan should know/ consider?
I would also like to hear from GC, New York Rick, and Frank (somebody has recognized his voice in public, right?)
The recently announced Tony Ferguson vs Paddy Pimblett fight got me thinking:
When was the last time a fighter in Tony's situation actually won a fight like this? He was/is a huge star, had lots of great wins, he's still a PPV attraction, but due to his recent string of losses, most people (me included) have bad feelings about his matchup with Paddy. I'm a COVID fan, so I haven't been watching for long, but in every similar scenario I can think of (Anderson Silva, Donald Cerrone, Cody Garbrant, etc.) the old dog has gotten walked just like everyone expected. I'm hoping you can provide some counter-examples where someone in Tony's position surprised everyone and outperformed.
Hello Ariel and crew! Greetings from magical and beautiful Perú. It’s my first time asking so I'll keep it short and sweet. I’m participating in the MMA Hour FPL League, but I haven't heard you guys speak in the program about it (or about FPL at all). Are you out or still playing? You plan on doing something fun with FPL? Great season so far for Forest by the way.
Great episode on Monday. That Dillon Danis fellow seems pretty solid. I noticed again that the audio was great except three occasions where i think the host could have been a bit more in control. Could he not have helped Dillon understand that rubbing his beard on the mic and bouncing a ball on the table were not great, before embarrassing Frank! Also, if you're going to wrestle with guests, sort of unprofessional if I'm being honest, then put on a lav. My question is: how does Frank maintain his sanity with the hijinks the host is inviting?!
Follow-up to anyone that says anything, Frank was well within his moral good conscience to pull the audio on the host mid sentence. "There was a what" good sir? An audio engineer with a hostile work environment. I say good day to you sir.
Ariel - Why do you think the UFC doesn't allow fighters to make creative entrances to their fights? No costumes, no Pyro/fireworks, for the most part fighters don't have specific songs or anything...Do you believe this is a strategy of theirs to stifle the Fighters personalities/popularity with the fans all to help the UFCs bargaining power when it comes to fighter contracts? Maybe they just dont want to add that cost to the production? You would think they would embrace these extravagant entrances a la WWE 'cause fans love this stuff. What do you guys think? Love the show, thanks for all the great content.
Any insight on target city for Dec. 2 UFC fight night? Fingers crossed for Minneapolis.
Also, petition for the mysterious one to share process for picking questions. I had a solid streak of questions On the Nose with Louis at the helm, but haven’t had any luck under the new regime. Not bitter at all. Still love the MF Zoom homage.
Hello Ariel, I’m not usually one for this times of conspiracy but do you think the recent release of Matt Riddle has anything to do with the heat he has with Dana White. Whilst I don’t think the WWE would care about this, its interesting he was the first high profile release following the merger. Also, WWE typically don’t release guys regularly featuring in the upper/mid card on PPVs especially whilst mid storyline yet have done so in this case. Ive seen suggestions Riddle was on borrowed time after numerous scathing remarks about Dana over the years including calling him a “heartless moron”. Do you think theirs legs to this or pure coincidence? P.S as a huge fan of the show I picked the Buffalo Bills as my NFL team 2 years ago & this Sunday, I attend my first Bills game in London. Let’s go Bills!!! Much love, your boy Abay ✌🏾
Hello Ariel, 2 ‘quick’ ones. What’s your thoughts on Edge joining AEW? I still find it confused the WWE didn’t renew his deal knowing he wanted to continue & would likely join their main rival. It feels AEW really are gathering momentum again, both companies brought PPVs to London this summer, money in the bank was great but ALL IN at Wembley was the best event we’ve had here for years. Which leads me to my next question, do you believe the recent rumours about Punk & Rock returning to headline night 1 & 2 of Wrestlemania? I personally think nows the time for the Rock after the recent Smackdown appearance, Punk on the other hand would be a long shot for me, what do you think ? P.S if Tony khan doesn’t use the opportunity to book Edge & Christian vs the Hardy boyz, he’s f*** up bigtime. Much love, your boy Abay ✌🏾

Favorite entrance music has to be between bret hart hbk or undertaker
Razor Ramon or NWO Wolfpack for me
Stone Cold's Music....'cause when you hear the break of that glass you know that means your ass!

Hi Ariel!
Three name-related questions for you:
1. Is Ariel (from 'The Little Mermaid') your favorite Disney princess?
2. Although the spelling isn't exact, are you inclined to use the 'Arial' font when typing on your computer?
3. Have you ever read the legendary poetry book, 'Ariel' by Sylvia Plath?

Omg you're such a cuck...Ariel was completely bias and you're blind.
Which one is Ariel?

Is it true that Showtime is getting out of the boxing business?
Gentlemen,
Can we briefly discuss Edge going to AEW!?! I don't watch wrestling religiously, but am I the only one who thought Edge retired?
Hi Ariel -
What does the sneaker closet look like? I’ve noticed some fresh kicks on rotation.
Best,
