That was my final thought as I logged off mentally last night after watching the Triller: Holyfield x Belfort card. I was genuinely worried Evander Holyfield, 58, would get seriously hurt by the very strong Vitor Belfort, 44. This fight never should have been sanctioned. It never should been made, especially on such short notice. There has to be safer, more honorable, ways for these legends to make money. And I hope this is a warning to the younger fighters out there to be wise with their money in their prime so they don’t have to resort to this when they are grandparents.
Call me crazy but that was an early stoppage!!! Had that been allowed to go on Vitor would have got knocked out cold. Now Vitor thinks he is better than he is and that will show in his next fight. Truth is he was stepping right in the pocket right into the danger zone. It was a matter of time before he would have walked into a train wreck and been knocked out cold. Evander tripped and fell sure but he never was hurt and he knew exactly what he was doing. He wanted to take those blows and let Vitor gas himself out which is exactly what he was doing. Evander is in no hurry. Everyone feeling sorry for the old guy bahahaha if your going to let him fight then let him!!! If your going to stop it early and feel sorry for him then don't do the fight in the 1st place!! There's no way Jake Paul takes either the Vitor/Anderson fight. Anderson would piece Jake Paul apart and most likely KO him if I'm honest. Vitor would hurt him.
At least No one died??.. you would think the high probability of someone dying is enough a factor to not hold the card at all yeah? reminds me of the Ali fight with Larry Holmes.. A fight that should never have happened. I m all for making money but hell Holyfield is in mental no shape for ping pong talkless of boxing..
